2026 method: iCloud.com check Before ordering, open Safari on the device, go to iCloud.com and check whether the site offers Apple ID sign-in through the device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID.

If protection is not enabled Sometimes the device has a linked Apple ID, but no passcode, Face ID or Touch ID is set. If Settings allow adding protection, do this before checking:

  • Open Settings and enable a passcode.
  • If the device offers Face ID or Touch ID, add that option too.
  • Reboot the device.
  • After reboot, open Safari -> iCloud.com again and check which sign-in options the site offers.

Simple rule: if iCloud.com offers sign-in through passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, take a photo of that screen and send it to the specialist.

What to send

  • A photo of the iCloud.com screen with passcode, Face ID or Touch ID sign-in.
  • Device model and iOS/iPadOS version.
  • IMEI/SN if an additional check is needed.
  • If protection was just enabled, mention that the check was done after reboot.
  • Recommended tool We use our own SmartMaster35Rus tool: FMI:OFF Open Menu Platinum.
  • The current Windows build is available through the compatibility page, macOS version is coming soon.
